Coming Sunday, August 18, 2019, our 22nd Championship!
2019 will be the 13th year that the Clintonville Beechwold Community Resource Center and the Julie Davis Charity Birthday Golf Classic have partnered to help people in need in our own neighborhood. In the past 12 years we raised just under $100,000.00. With the support of our many friends, we hope to continue that success in 2019.
Scheduled each year near the end of birthday month, the Julie Davis Charity Birthday Golf Classic was inaugurated at the challenging Blackhawk Golf Club in 1998. In this, its 21st year, the Julie Davis Charity Birthday Golf Classic is returning for the 12th year to Pine Hill Golf Club in Carroll, Ohio. It has grown to be “the Most Prized Championship in all of Golf.”
The 2017 championship was claimed by the representatives of the great state of Kentucky. Chris Moore, Sam Moore, Diana Hendrix, and Mark Hendrix shot an eleven-under-par 61, besting 2016 co-champions Dave Black, Melissa Black, Michelle Chavanne, and Blair Jaspers by a single shot.
